How it all began

The American dream they say... that's what we're going for!

Let's rewind a bit and get acquainted here. We're the Marlowe family, and I

am LeeAnne! I am a wife and mother then it's my husband, Austin and our two boys, Hunter and William. We didn't always have our eyes on the homesteading lifestyle.

One thing we have always been is resourceful. We have always strived to save money, work hard and utilize what we have to get by. We still do that! After we moved back to Cheshire (my hometown) we started looking for ways on how to expand that. Like so many other homesteaders, our first foot in the door was raising backyard chickens. Once we had that the hang of that we were hooked! Over the years we have been doing more and more research on different homesteading styles and hobbies. Throughout this time we have accumulated quite a few skills! We are happily now chicken raising, beekeeping, maple syrup tapping, pig farming, goat farming, homeschooling, sourdough baking, mushroom growers! (quite the mouthful)
